The Park specialise in Scotland’s wildlife, past and present, along with endangered animals of the world’s mountains and tundra regions. Drive through the Main Reserve, park & explore the rest of the Park on foot. Look at bison, yaks, mouflon, reindeer, red deer, wolf, wildcat, snow monkeys, red panda, Amur tigers, polar bear etc. Guided Tours and Feeding Talks available daily all year except Christmas Day!

The Cairngorm Reindeer Centre is a unique experience. Join the reindeer herder out onto the hillside where the reindeer graze. These quiet friendly animals are a delight to all ages. Wander freely stroking and feeding them. Learn the facts and the fiction by spending time at the centre where you can visit Santa's bothy, his reindeer paddocks and their charming shop.

Enter the life of a Highland shepherd and his dogs. See up to 8 dogs working as a team manoeuvring sheep and ducks through various obstacles. Meet the pups, bottle feed the lambs and shear a sheep.
Working Sheepdogs is based on Leault Farm, Kincraig and is only 7 miles from Newtonmore at the very heart of the Cairngorms National Park in the Scottish Highlands.
Sheepdog demonstrations are at 4pm every day (except Saturdays) May through October - for other available times please feel free to contact them!
